Colour boom!

A grey dreary morning and we’re crawling through what’s left of the week. But looking at Martin Klimas’ colour sonic works helps a lot.

By placing wet paint over the diaphragm of a speaker, Martin photographs the riot that ensues as the speakers vibrate to music that ranges from Miles Davis to Kraftwerk. Definitely art and music we want to throw ourselves into today; then again how could we ever resist James Brown inspired anything?
